As a girl growing up in Costa Rica, Ivonne often found herself scaling the trunks of mango trees, searching for the perfect green mango to eat while looking out at the world from the branches. Now, that same girl who salted green mangos captures that innocent childhood spirit in every picture. Ivonne’s gift for photography comes from the ability to see the extraordinary in everything, the same way she can see a necklace in a handful of beads. Much of her inspiration today comes from her beautiful daughter, Soledad, and her husband Chris. They live in Santa Monica where Ivonne can catch glimpses of the ocean that remind her fondly of her home in Costa Rica.
